Protects against attacks between edge devices and control hardware in a security system, raising alarms if communications are severed.
The High Sec End of Line Module (ELM) protects against attacks (sensor tampering, disablement or insider attack) between alarm sensors and control hardware in a security system. Without an ELM, sites are susceptible to sophisticated attacks, potentially rendering high value assets unprotected.
The ELM sends regular heartbeats, ensuring that alarms are raised if communications with the ELM are severed.
For the AS/NZS 2201 Class 5 standard, the ELM forms part of a compliant Gallagher Class 5 Intruder Alarm System.
